The joint research paper ” Optimized and Improved YOLOv8 Dense Pedestrian Detection Algorithm “by FUTU-RE and Tianjin University of Technology (TUT) was published/announced by IEEE.

The 9th International Conference on Communication, Image and Signal Processing (CCISP 2024) was held. We submitted and presented our paper, ‘Optimized and Improved YOLOv8 Dense Pedestrian Detection Algorithm,’ at CCISP 2024.

FUTU-RE has been conducting joint research with Tianjin University of Technology (TUT) over the past few years on the experimental application of autonomous vehicles in medical facilities for the elderly. The submission and presentation of this paper is part of those research outcomes.

We plan to leverage these technologies to expand our contributions to the healthcare sector for elderly care facilities.
